Alejandro Maroto Morales

Predoctoral researcher

Graduate in Veterinary (University of Extremadura, Spain; 2000-2005) He is carrying out his Doctoral thesis: “Characterization of sperm morphometry and its repercussion on individual AI fertility variation in Manchega sheep breed”.

He joined the GBR in January of 2008. His research activity is mainly dedicated to the study of sperm morphometry in fresh ram sperm. Nowdays, he is working in the GBR, contracted by the UCLM, as a researcher assigned to a project “Use of sperm morphometry as a tool for design technological alternatives for improving the freezability of red deer spermatozoa: incidence of individual factor” which objective is studying sperm morphometry in red deer (Cervus elaphus hispanicus).
