Enrique del Olmo


Graduate in Biology by the University of Alcalá de Henares (UAH) (1999-2004); previously he obtained a professional degree as Lab Technician (Pathological Anatomy and Cytology) (1998-2000). He also participated in the course "Expert in Clinical Genetics", organized by the UAH in the "Ramón y Cajal" Universitary Hospital (Madrid).
He has adquired expertise in Health services by carrying out a 6-month stays in the Laboratory of Pathological Anatomy of the "La Princesa" Hospital (Madrid) and a 2-year stay in the Laboratory of Assissted Reproduction of the "Príncipe de Asturias" Hospital (Alcalá de Henares), learning and developing techniques for analizing and preparing seminal samples for insemination, IVF and ICSI, collecting cumulus-oocyte complex obtained by ovary puncture, preparing them and carrying out IVF and ICSI. Besides, he learned the basis for the management of a reproduction laboratory.
He is currently working in the GBR as a researcher assigned to a project, contracted by the UCLM.
